The CF-100 was an innovative design when Gibson offered it’s first flat-top cutaway instrument in 1950. Continuing with innovation, Gibson offers up this 1950’s CF-100 Ebony acoustic-electric with a special, scientifically researched, Thermally Aged Adirondack red spruce top and cool, modern, thin ebony finish. Players have touted the ease of playing provided by the Florentine cutaway and smaller body design, and this Limited Edition is no different. It also gives you vintage-style strap button tuners, large trapezoid inlays, tortoise pickguard, bone nut and saddle, plus an L.R. Baggs Lyric pickup system.
