Collings says the result has a strong fundamental, dry articulation and warmer highs, with the thin finish adding responsiveness.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe neck is Collings' Traditional profile with a 1 3\/4\" bone nut, wider than on the 001 14-Fret, and the belly bridge spaces the strings at 2 5\/16\" over a cutthrough saddle. Both give a fingerpicker more room.
