Under the top is their pre-war scalloped X-brace with a shortened tongue brace, finished in an ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe neck is a Traditional profile with a 1 3\/4\" bone nut, and the strings spread to 2 5\/16\" at the ebony belly bridge, which gives a fingerpicking hand room to work.
