Collings describes the Traditional voice as warm, rounded highs and a present low midrange, with a quick attack and strong projection.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWith the neck joined at the 12th fret, the pyramid bridge sits nearer the centre of the lower bout. The Traditional neck profile has a 1 3\/4\" bone nut, and the strings sit 2 5\/16\" apart at the bridge, room enough for fingerpicking.
