Collings voices it for headroom and projection when the playing gets aggressive.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Dalmatian pickguard and the uninlaid ebony fingerboard mark it as a Winfield. On the mahogany model the body and board are bound in tortoise, the rosette is black and white purfling and the backstrip is walnut.
