The greasebucket circuit takes top end off without pushing the bass up as it goes, so the tone knob stays usable through its whole sweep rather than turning to mud at the bottom.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe finish is hand-painted and worth looking at closely: pale blue across the whole body, with roses and blossoms drawn over the face in a fine pearlescent white line.
