It's a '63 Strat set up as an HSS, routed for a humbucker in the bridge, finished in nitro Black Sparkle over Taos Turquoise and taken to Heavy Relic.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe body is two-piece alder, sorted for light weight, and the guitar weighs 8 lb 4.5 oz. The neck is quartersawn maple in a '63 \"C\", .830\" at the first fret and 1.000\" at the twelfth, under a dark tint nitro finish. The fingerboard is round-laminated AAA rosewood sorted for dark stock, with a 9.5\" radius, 21 narrow tall frets and a bone nut.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eHand-wound 60\/63 Strat single-coils sit in the neck and middle, the middle reverse-wound and reverse polarity, with a ThroBak SLE-101+ in aged nickel at the bridge.
