A '50s style two-piece select alder body in DLX Closet Classic lacquer, Closet Classic hardware, a 1-ply eggshell pickguard and strap locks.

The rift sawn maple neck has the Jimmie Vaughan Custom "C" carve, copied from his favourite neck, with a 1.620" nut, a 9.5" radius maple board and 21 jumbo frets, which help with bends and vibrato. Three Custom Shop hand-wound JLV single-coils, with a reverse-wound, reverse-polarity middle pickup to cancel hum in positions 2 and 4, run through JLV Modified #2 wiring, which gives the bridge pickup its own tone knob.

Three finishes are offered: Aged Aztec Gold, Aged Olympic White and Wide Fade 2-Color Sunburst. For his brother's guitar, compare the Stevie Ray Vaughan Signature Stratocaster NOS.

The photos show one example.
