The two-piece select ash body carries a 4-ply brown shell pickguard, and the quartersawn maple neck has a '60s Oval "C" carve, a 3A rosewood board with vintage clay dots and a contoured heel for easier reach up high.

The playability is modern: a 9.5" to 12" compound radius, narrow tall 6105 frets and a bone nut. Three Custom Shop Hand-Wound Master Design "Bone-Tone" Strat pickups run through a five-way blade that can blend the neck pickup into positions one and two. The volume has a Tone-Saver treble bleed so the highs stay as you turn down, and there are separate tone controls for neck/middle and bridge.

The same guitar with a maple board is the Postmodern Stratocaster Journeyman Relic with Closet Classic Hardware, Maple, and the Postmodern Strat RW NOS goes further with a solid rosewood neck. Finishes here are Aged Natural, 3-Color Sunburst and Aged White Blonde.

The photos show one example. Wood grain and aging vary from guitar to guitar, so the one built for you will differ in the details.

SPECIFICATIONS

BODY
Country of Origin: USA
Body Material: 2-Piece Select Ash
Body Finish: Nitrocellulose Lacquer
Body Shape: Stratocaster
Pickguard: 4-Ply Brown Shell
Aging: Journeyman Relic with Closet Classic Hardware

NECK
Neck Material: Quartersawn Maple
Neck Finish: Nitrocellulose Lacquer
Neck Shape: '60s Oval "C"
Fingerboard Radius: 9.5" to 12" Compound Radius
Fingerboard Material: 3A Rosewood
Position Inlays: Vintage Clay Dot
Number of Frets: 21
Fret Size: Narrow Tall (6105)
Truss Rod: Early '60s
Nut Material: Bone
Nut Width: 1.650" (42 mm)
Scale Length: 25.5" (648 mm)

ELECTRONICS
Bridge Pickup: Custom Shop Hand-Wound Master Design "Bone-Tone" Strat
Middle Pickup: Custom Shop Hand-Wound Master Design "Bone-Tone" Strat
Neck Pickup: Custom Shop Hand-Wound Master Design "Bone-Tone" Strat
Pickup Configuration: SSS
Controls: Master Volume with Tone-Saver Treble-Bleed Circuit, Tone 1.
