The neck has a custom '70s Precision Bass carve, a 9.5" slab rosewood fingerboard and 20 medium jumbo frets, with pearloid block inlays and a Mastodon "Emperor of Sand" inlay at the 12th fret. The HiMass bridge loads through the body or from the top, and the neck plate carries the "Remission" logo.

For a passive P with a different heavy-rock pedigree, the Nate Mendel P Bass or the Duff McKagan Deluxe Precision Bass are worth a look.
