friedman-be-od-deluxe
Friedman BE-OD Deluxe Overdrive Pedal

The BE-OD Deluxe is two BE-OD pedals in one box. Channel 1, the top row, is the original BE-OD circuit. Channel 2, the bottom row, is the same circuit voiced by Dave with slightly less gain, so you can set a rhythm sound and a lead sound and footswitch between them.

Each channel gets Volume, Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble and Presence, and its own three-position Tight switch. That is one more tone knob per channel than the single BE-OD, which has no Middle control and uses a Tight knob instead of a switch. It runs on 18 volts DC only, and Friedman includes a splitter cable so you can feed it from two isolated 9V outputs on your power supply. True bypass, assembled in the USA.

If one BE sound is all you need, the original BE-OD is the smaller, simpler pedal. Friedman's BE-100 Deluxe and BE-50 Deluxe heads are in the Catalogue too.

SPECIFICATIONS

FEATURES
Country of Origin: United States
Type: Dual channel overdrive
Voicing: Authentic British Overdrive Tones based on the BE-100 tube head
Channel 1: Identical to the original BE-OD pedal
Channel 2: Voiced with slightly lower gain
Switching: True Bypass Switching

CONTROLS
Per Channel: Volume, Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble and Presence
Tight: Three Position Tight Switch (per channel)

POWER
Power: Powered by 18VDC (no battery)

ACCESSORIES
Included: Splitter Cable for 18V Operation (connect to power supply via 2 x 9V isolated outputs)
