friedman-vertical-212
Friedman Vertical 212 2x12 Cabinet

The Vertical 212 stacks its two Celestion Vintage 30s one above the other instead of side by side. The bottom speaker faces straight out and the top one is angled slightly upward, so more of the sound reaches your ears on a stage instead of your ankles. It's closed back and rear ported, 8 ohms, in tongue and groove Baltic birch, and built in the USA.

Against the horizontal 212 it carries the same speakers and the same 8 ohm load, in a box 24 inches wide instead of 30 and 28 inches tall instead of 20.75. That makes it a better fit for a narrow stage or a small room where floor space is the limit, at 64 lbs against 58.

Friedman builds it for any of its amps. The Runt-20, Runt-50, Smallbox, Dirty Shirley, BE-50 Deluxe and BE-100 Deluxe heads all have an 8 ohm setting. Grille options are Black, Silver Weave and Gold Weave.

SPECIFICATIONS

CABINET
Country of Origin: United States
Configuration: Vertical 2x12 extension cabinet
Design: Closed-back, rear-ported cab design, top speaker angled slightly upward
Construction: Tongue and groove Baltic Birch, hand crafted in USA
Grille Options: Black, Silver Weave, Gold Weave

SPEAKERS
Speakers: 2 x Celestion 12″ Vintage 30
Nominal Impedance: 8 Ohms
Speaker Wire: Oversized 12-gauge, soldered speaker to terminal

FEATURES
Warranty: Limited lifetime warranty

DIMENSIONS
Dimensions: 14″ (D) x 24″ (W) x 28″ (H)
Weight: 64 lbs
