That is the rounder, fuller neck of the two Standards, and the one to pick if you like something substantial in your hand.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe pickups are a Burstbucker 1 in the neck and a Burstbucker 2 in the bridge, both with Alnico 2 magnets and calibrated after early PAF-style humbuckers, with two volumes and two tones hand-wired to Orange Drop capacitors. ABR-1 bridge, aluminum stop bar, Vintage Deluxe tuners with keystone buttons, and a gloss nitro finish.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe finish decides the top. Heritage Cherry Sunburst, Tobacco Burst and Goldtop carry the regular maple cap. The Custom Color bursts (Blueberry Burst, Honey Amber, Ocean Blue, 60s Cherry and Translucent Fuchsia) get an AA figured top. Ebony, Inverness Green, Pelham Blue, Cardinal Red and Classic White are plain-top solid colours, priced a little lower.
