Two Pro Twin Six humbuckers sit under gold covers, and the string-thru Bigsby B7GP rides behind an Adjusto-Matic bridge. Gretsch designed it for full sound at high volume, and the centre block helps it resist feedback when the amp is loud.

The neck is a Standard "U" on a 24.6" scale, with rolled fingerboard edges, Luminlay side dots, a Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut and Gotoh locking tuners. Each pickup has its own volume, plus a master volume with treble bleed and a no-load master tone fitted with a "Squeezebox" capacitor.

Cadillac Green and Black both carry gold hardware and a gold plexi pickguard.
