The silver plexi pickguard carries the Gretsch logo and "Chet Atkins Tennessean".

The controls are the old Gretsch layout. Each pickup has its own volume, there is a master volume, and a three-position master tone switch sits in place of a tone knob, so you set the balance between pickups with the volumes and pick a voicing with the switch. The maple neck is a standard "U" with a 12" radius rosewood board, vintage small frets, pearloid thumbnail inlays and a bone nut. The 24.6" scale is on the short side, which keeps bends and wide stretches easy.

It comes in Dark Cherry Stain.
