The hollow body is laminated flame maple under a gloss nitrocellulose lacquer in Vintage Orange Stain, with gold hardware, a gold plexi pickguard with the sign post graphic, and aged pearloid block inlays on a rosewood board.

The pickups are TV Jones T-Armond single-coils, in the Dynasonic format, run through a volume for each pickup, a tone control and a three-way toggle. A compensated aluminum bridge works with the Bigsby, and the nut is polished aluminum. The maple neck is a standard "U" with a 12" radius and medium jumbo frets, and the 24.6" scale keeps the reach short.

For the same guitar a few years on, compare the G6120T-59 Vintage Select Edition '59 Chet Atkins.
