Two TV Jones Filter'Tron Classic pickups run through the traditional Gretsch layout: a volume for each pickup, a master volume and the three-position master tone switch, with "Squeezebox" capacitors on the tone circuit.

The maple neck has a Vintage "V" profile and a 12" ebony board with 22 vintage small frets and pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays. A pinned rocking bar bridge works with the Bigsby B6CVT, and the nut is bone. The body and neck are finished in gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, Vintage Orange Stain, with nickel hardware and a gold plexi pickguard.

For the earlier version with TV Jones T-Armonds, a rosewood board and block inlays, look at the G6120T-55.
