Under the black finish the body is chambered mahogany, with the Gretsch script logo on the headstock, aged pearloid block inlays, aged white binding and a single-ply vintage white pickguard.

Two TV Jones T-Armond pickups, built to recall the original Dynasonic, run through a volume for each pickup plus master volume and master tone. An aluminum compensated bridge sits ahead of the Bigsby. The mahogany neck is a standard "U" with a 12" radius rosewood board, medium jumbo frets and a bone nut, on a 24.6" scale that keeps the reach short.

The Duo Jet runs through this catalogue in several years: compare the '57, '59 and '89 Vintage Select models, or the G6128T-GH George Harrison Signature Duo Jet.

SPECIFICATIONS

BODY
Country of Origin: Japan
Body Material: Mahogany
Body Finish: Gloss
Body Shape: Jet
Body Binding: Aged White
Pickguard: 1-Ply Vintage White

NECK
Neck Material: Mahogany
Neck Finish: Gloss Urethane
Neck Shape: Standard "U"
Fingerboard Radius: 12" (305 mm)
Fingerboard Material: Rosewood
Position Inlays: Aged Pearloid Blocks
Number of Frets: 22
Fret Size: Medium Jumbo
Nut Material: Bone
Nut Width: 1.6875" (42.86 mm)
Scale Length: 24.6" (625 mm)

ELECTRONICS
Bridge Pickup: TV Jones T-Armond
Neck Pickup: TV Jones T-Armond
Controls: Volume 1.
