jackson-mj-series-dinky-dkr-basswood
Jackson MJ Series Dinky DKR Basswood

The MJ Series Dinky DKR Basswood is the Japanese-made Dinky on a basswood body, with a shredder's cut heel for reaching the top frets. The 5-piece maple and walnut neck bolts on with graphite reinforcement and an oiled back, and the ebony board has rolled edges, 24 jumbo frets, pearloid sharkfins and Luminlay side dots on a 12" to 16" compound radius that flattens toward the upper frets.

A Seymour Duncan JB TB-4 at the bridge and a Jazz SH-2N at the neck run through a 5-way blade, with inner-coil sounds in positions 2 and 4. The Gotoh GE1996T Series double-locking tremolo sits recessed in the body with a Floyd Rose R3 locking nut, so it returns to pitch after heavy bar use.

It comes in Gloss Black with black hardware. The DKR Alder swaps to an alder body with DiMarzio pickups, and the DKRA keeps these Seymour Duncans on a bound mahogany body.

SPECIFICATIONS

BODY
Country of Origin: Japan
Body Material: Basswood
Body Finish: Gloss
Body Shape: Dinky
Pickguard: None

NECK
Neck Material: 5-Piece Maple/Walnut/Maple/Walnut/Maple
Neck Construction: Bolt-On with Graphite Reinforcement
Neck Finish: Oiled
Fingerboard Radius: 12" to 16" Compound Radius (304.8 mm to 406.4 mm)
Fingerboard Material: Ebony
Position Inlays: Pearloid Sharkfin
Side Dots: Luminlay
Number of Frets: 24
Fret Size: Jumbo
Nut Material: Floyd Rose R3 Locking
Nut Width: 1.6875" (42.86 mm)
Scale Length: 25.5" (648 mm)

ELECTRONICS
Bridge Pickup: Seymour Duncan JB TB-4
Neck Pickup: Seymour Duncan Jazz SH-2N
Pickup Configuration: HH
Controls: Volume, Tone
Switching: 5-Position Blade: Position 1.
