jackson-usa-signature-gus-g-star
Jackson USA Signature Gus G. Star

Gus G.'s USA Signature Star takes one of Jackson's original body shapes and builds it neck-through: a quartersawn maple neck with graphite reinforcement runs the length of an alder body, with a satin finish on the back of the neck and a gloss finish everywhere else. The bound pau ferro board has a 12" radius, 24 jumbo frets and mother of pearl big block inlays.

The pickups are a pair of Blackfire Pickups Proteus humbuckers, active, designed with Gus G., wired to one volume and a three-way toggle. A TonePros TOM-style bridge with an anchored Gotoh tailpiece keeps the strings fixed, and Jackson's sealed die-cast locking tuners hold them at the headstock. It comes in Ivory with white binding, chrome hardware and chrome pickup covers.

For the same player's other USA model, the Gus G. San Dimas pairs a maple board with passive Blackfire Pickups Titan humbuckers and a Gotoh Custom 510 tremolo.

SPECIFICATIONS

BODY
Country of Origin: USA
Body Material: Alder
Body Finish: Gloss
Body Shape: Star
Body Binding: White
Pickguard: None

NECK
Neck Material: Quartersawn Maple
Neck Construction: Neck-Through-Body with Graphite Reinforcement and Scarf Joint
Neck Finish: Satin
Fingerboard Radius: 12" (305 mm)
Fingerboard Material: Pau Ferro
Position Inlays: Mother of Pearl Big Block
Number of Frets: 24
Fret Size: Jumbo
Truss Rod: Dual-Action Head Adjust
Nut Material: Bone
Nut Width: 1.650" (42 mm)
Scale Length: 25.5" (648 mm)

ELECTRONICS
Bridge Pickup: Blackfire Pickups Proteus Humbucker (Active)
Neck Pickup: Blackfire Pickups Proteus Humbucker (Active)
Pickup Configuration: HH
Controls: Volume
Switching: 3-Position Toggle: Position 1.
