suhr-andy-wood-signature-series-modern-t
Suhr Andy Wood Signature Series Modern T

The Andy Wood Signature Modern T is built on Suhr's Modern T body in swamp ash, with a roasted maple neck carved to the thin Modern Elliptical profile, .780" to .830", on a flat 16" radius with jumbo stainless steel frets. Every version carries Andy Wood's signature laser engraved on the headstock and Suhr locking tuners.

Most finishes come as HH or SS; the 10th anniversary pair is HH only. HH guitars carry Suhr Woodbucker humbuckers with a 2-post tremolo, and most add a push/pull on the tone knob that puts the bridge pickup in parallel. SS guitars carry Woodshed single coils. Stainless frets wear far more slowly than nickel.

The finishes fall into four groups. Iron Red, War Black and Whiskey Barrel have a body torched by hand before the satin goes on, so you can feel the grain through the finish. AW Silver is gloss with a black satin pickguard. Rosso Corsa and Arancio Orange mark the model's 10th anniversary with an ebony fingerboard, a carbon fibre pickguard, black-covered Woodbuckers and black hardware. Shelby Blue and Candy Apple Red are the GT pair, in gloss. Our pick is the Whiskey Barrel.

For a T with a 60's C neck and a compound radius, look at the Classic T.

SPECIFICATIONS

BODY
Country of Origin: United States
Body Shape: Modern T
Body Wood: Swamp Ash
Body Finish: Torched Satin (Iron Red, War Black, Whiskey Barrel), AW Silver Gloss, Rosso Corsa or Arancio Orange, GT Gloss (Shelby Blue, Candy Apple Red)
Pickguard: Black Satin (AW Silver) or Carbon Fiber (Rosso Corsa, Arancio Orange)

NECK
Neck Wood: Roasted Maple
Neck Finish: Satin
Fingerboard Wood: Roasted Maple, or Ebony (Rosso Corsa, Arancio Orange)
Neck Back Shape: Modern Elliptical .780"-.830"
Fingerboard Radius: 16"
Frets: Jumbo Stainless Steel (.057"x.110")
Nut: 1.650" Tusq
Headstock: Laser Engraved Andy Wood Signature

ELECTRONICS
Bridge Pickup: Woodbucker (Raw Nickel) (HH), Woodbucker (Black Cover) (Rosso Corsa, Arancio Orange) or Woodshed (SS)
Neck Pickup: Woodbucker (Raw Nickel) (HH), Woodbucker (Black Cover) (Rosso Corsa, Arancio Orange) or Woodshed (SS)
Special Control: Parallel Bridge Pickup, Push/Pull on Tone Knob (HH in AW Silver, Rosso Corsa, Arancio Orange, Shelby Blue, Candy Apple Red)
SSCII: Equipped (SS in Iron Red, War Black, Whiskey Barrel, AW Silver)

HARDWARE
Tuning Machines: Suhr Locking
Bridge: Recessed 2-Post Tremolo With Steel Block (HH in Iron Red, War Black, Whiskey Barrel); 2-Post Tremolo with Solid Saddles, Steel Block (HH in AW Silver); Recessed Suhr 2-Post Tremolo, Solid Saddles, Steel Block (Rosso Corsa, Arancio Orange); Suhr 2-Post Tremolo, Solid Saddles, Steel Block (Shelby Blue, Candy Apple Red, HH and SS); Wilkinson 3 Saddle (SS in Iron Red, War Black, Whiskey Barrel); Chopped Wilkinson 3-Saddle (SS in AW Silver)
Color: Chrome, or Black (Rosso Corsa, Arancio Orange)
Case: Travel Pro - Premium Softshell Case
