suhr-eclipse-black-edition
Suhr Eclipse Black Edition

The Eclipse is a two-channel overdrive and distortion laid out like a channel-switching amp. Each side has its own Gain, Level and 3-band passive EQ, so one channel can sit at a low-gain crunch while the other is set tight and heavy. Suhr designed the passive EQ to respond the way an amp's tone stack does.

A global Voice control tunes the top end of the pedal to the amp in front of it, which helps when that amp runs particularly dark or bright. Suhr states the circuit and tone are identical to the original Eclipse.

For a single-channel high-gain sound with a three-way voicing switch, compare the Riot Distortion Black Edition. For a smoother overdrive that stacks with an amp's own drive channel, the Shiba Drive Black Edition.

SPECIFICATIONS

FEATURES
Country of Origin: United States
Type: Dual Channel Overdrive/Distortion
Channels: 2, independent
EQ: 3-Band passive EQ per channel
Bypass: True Bypass

CONTROLS
Channel 1: Gain, Level, 3-Band passive EQ
Channel 2: Gain, Level, 3-Band passive EQ
Global: Voice control
