suhr-jack-rabbit-black-edition
Suhr Jack Rabbit Black Edition

The Jack Rabbit is an analog tremolo with a rate that spans 1Hz to 20Hz and five waveforms: Sine, Square, Triangle, Reverse Ramp and Ramp. That covers a slow, warm pulse through to choppy, extreme settings. Suhr states the circuit and tone are identical to the Jack Rabbit Ver 2.0.

Tempo can come from the Rate knob, from tap tempo (hold the footswitch for about a second), or from strum tempo mode. A subdivision switch picks quarter notes, eighth notes or quarter-note triplets. Depth sets how deep the effect goes, and Level runs from +0dB to +14dB. The stereo FX Link jack hands on/off and tap tempo to a switching system with TRS control outputs, such as a BOSS ES-8 or ES-5.

For a time-based effect with presets and full MIDI, look at the Discovery Analog Delay.

SPECIFICATIONS

FEATURES
Country of Origin: United States
Type: Analog Tremolo
Circuit: Jack Rabbit Ver 2.0
Tempo Modes: Tap tempo, strum tempo
Bypass: True Bypass via a relay
Low Battery Monitor: Yes, switches the pedal to True Bypass when battery voltage is too low

CONTROLS
Rate: 1Hz to 20Hz
Level: +0dB to +14dB
Depth: Depth of the tremolo effect
Waveform: Sine, Square, Triangle, Reverse Ramp, Ramp
Tempo Subdivision Switch: Quarter note, eighth note, quarter note triplet

CONNECTIONS
Input Impedance: 1M Ohm
Output Impedance: 600 Ohm
FX Link Connector: 1/8" Stereo
FX Link Max Voltage: 3.3Vdc
Shield → Tip: Activate On/Off
Shield → Ring: Activate Tap Tempo

POWER
Power Connector: 9Vdc regulated, center negative, 2.1mm x 5.5mm
Operating Voltage: 5V to 18V (nominal 9V)
Maximum Voltage: 20Vdc
Reverse Battery Protection: Yes
Over Voltage Protection: Yes
Estimated Battery Life: 25-50 hours of continuous use
ROHS Compliant: Yes

DIMENSIONS
Dimensions: 2.5"(W) x 4.5"(D) x 1.25"(H)
Weight: 0.75lb
