It keeps the Shiba's focus on saturation, upper harmonics and midrange articulation with a defined low end, and it works into an amp's clean channel or in front of its drive channel. Suhr states the circuit and tone are identical to the Shiba Reloaded Mini.

Drive, Tone and Level sit alongside a two-position Smooth switch. Left rolls off the high end for chunky rhythm and a violin-like lead, right keeps the full presence of the pedal. It is true bypass, with an on/off status light, and runs from any 9Vdc center-negative supply.

The full-size Shiba Drive Black Edition has a third Smooth position, tuned for warming up single coils. For high gain in the same small format, look at the Riot Mini Black Edition.

SPECIFICATIONS

FEATURES
Country of Origin: United States
Type: Overdrive
Circuit: Shiba Reloaded Mini
Bypass: True Bypass
Indicator: On/Off Effect Status Indicator
Enclosure: Powder coated die-cast

CONTROLS
DRIVE: Amount of overdrive
TONE: Overall tonal response
LEVEL: Output of the pedal
2-Position Smooth (Hi-Cut) Switch: Left (pronounced high-end roll off), Right (no high-end roll off)

POWER
Power: 9Vdc center negative power supply
