taylor-214ce-plus
Taylor 214ce Plus

The 214ce Plus is the 200 Series Grand Auditorium in full-body gloss, with a torrefied spruce top on C-Class bracing, a Venetian cutaway, a 25-1/2" scale and Expression System 2. Taylor voices it with a punchy midrange and enough projection to play with other people, and the neck is slim and easy for a newer player too.

The two finishes are built differently. The Natural has a Neo-Tropical Mahogany neck in matte, black binding and Taylor nickel tuners. The Black has a gloss Hard Rock Maple neck and peghead, white binding, Taylor satin black tuners and black strap pins. Pick the Natural if you prefer a matte neck under your hand; the Black is gloss from end to end.

For the same body in matte with layered walnut back and sides, look at the 214ce.

SPECIFICATIONS

BODY
Country of Origin: Mexico
Body Shape: Grand Auditorium
Cutaway: Venetian Cutaway
Bracing System: C-Class Bracing
Number of Strings: 6 String
Top Wood: Torrefied Spruce
Rosette: Faux Pearl Single Ring
Back Configuration: Layered, 2-Piece, or 4-Piece
Body Binding: Black
Armrest: None
Top Finish: Gloss
Back/Side Finish: Gloss

NECK
Neck Wood: Neo-Tropical Mahogany
Fretboard Wood: West African Crelicam Ebony
Neck Profile: Standard Carve
Fretboard Inlay: Faux Pearl 4mm Dots
Fretboard Binding: None
Neck Finish: Matte
Nut Width: 1-11/16"
Peghead Veneer Wood: West African Crelicam Ebony
Scale Length: 25-1/2"
Peghead Inlay: None
Peghead Type: Paddle
Peghead Binding: None
Peghead Finish: Matte

ELECTRONICS
Electronics: Expression System® 2

HARDWARE
Bridge: West African Crelicam Ebony
Nut & Saddle: White NuBone Nut, White Micarta Saddle
Bridge Pins: Black ABS Plastic
Strings: D'Addario XS Coated Phosphor Bronze Light (.012 - .053)
Pickguard: Black
Tuners: Taylor Nickel with Nickel Buttons
Strap Pin: Chrome
End Pin: Black

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0700/1220/7188/files/Taylor-214ce-Plus-2209073118-FrontLeft-2023_sq.jpg?v=1791348054
