taylor-214ce
Taylor 214ce

The 214ce is the 200 Series Grand Auditorium: a torrefied spruce top over layered walnut back and sides, C-Class bracing, a Venetian cutaway and a 25-1/2" scale. Taylor treats the Grand Auditorium as its all-purpose shape, and this one handles strumming, picking and fingerstyle without leaning hard any one way. The neck is Neo-Tropical Mahogany on a West African Crelicam ebony board, with white binding and a tortoise pickguard under a matte finish, and Expression System 2 for plugging in.

For Hawaiian koa back and sides on the same body, look at the 214ce-K, and for gloss and black binding, the 214ce Plus. The 214ce-N is the nylon-string version of this shape, and the 114ce is the 100 Series Grand Auditorium.

SPECIFICATIONS

BODY
Country of Origin: Mexico
Body Shape: Grand Auditorium
Cutaway: Venetian Cutaway
Bracing System: C-Class Bracing
Number of Strings: 6 String
Top Wood: Torrefied Spruce
Back/Side Wood: Layered Walnut
Rosette: White Plastic 3 Ring
Back Configuration: Layered, 2-Piece
Body Binding: White
Armrest: None
Top Finish: Matte
Back/Side Finish: Matte

NECK
Neck Wood: Neo-Tropical Mahogany
Fretboard Wood: West African Crelicam Ebony
Neck Profile: Standard Carve
Fretboard Inlay: Faux Pearl 4mm Dots
Fretboard Binding: None
Neck Finish: Matte
Nut Width: 1-11/16"
Peghead Veneer Wood: West African Crelicam Ebony
Scale Length: 25-1/2"
Peghead Inlay: None
Peghead Type: Paddle
Peghead Binding: None
Peghead Finish: Matte

ELECTRONICS
Electronics: Expression System® 2

HARDWARE
Bridge: West African Crelicam Ebony
Nut & Saddle: White NuBone Nut, White Micarta Saddle
Bridge Pins: Black ABS Plastic
Strings: D'Addario XS Coated Phosphor Bronze Light (.012 - .053)
Pickguard: Tortoise
Tuners: Die-cast Chrome with Chrome Buttons
Strap Pin: Chrome
End Pin: Black

CASE
Case/Bag: Tan Structured Gig Bag

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0700/1220/7188/files/Taylor-214ce-2209073120-FrontLeft-2023_sq.jpg?v=1791348002
