taylor-812ce-n
Taylor 812ce-N

The 812ce-N is a nylon-string Grand Concert in solid Indian rosewood with a Sitka spruce top, a soft cutaway and ES-N electronics. Taylor voices it with full overtones and a crisp treble, so the separate lines in a fingerstyle arrangement stay distinct.

A classical player will find the 20" fretboard radius familiar, close to flat, and the 1-7/8" nut keeps fretting comfortable. Maple binding on the body and fretboard, Element inlays and a gloss finish complete it. For the same build in the Grand Auditorium body with a Venetian cutaway, look at the 814ce-N; for solid sapele on the Grand Concert, the 312ce-N.

SPECIFICATIONS

BODY
Country of Origin: USA
Cutaway: Soft Cutaway
Top Wood: Spruce
Back Configuration: 2-piece No Wedge
Body Binding: Maple
Armrest: No
Top Finish: Gloss 4.5
Back/Side Finish: Gloss 4.5

NECK
Neck Wood: Tropical Mahogany
Fretboard Wood: Ebony
Fretboard Inlay: Element
Fretboard Binding: Maple
Neck Finish: Satin
Scale Length: 25-1/2"
Peghead Inlay: None
Peghead Type: Slotted - Nylon
Peghead Binding: None
Peghead Finish: Gloss

ELECTRONICS
Electronics: ES-N®

HARDWARE
Bridge: Ebony
Nut & Saddle: Tusq Nut, Micarta Saddle
Strings: D'Addario Pro Arte Carbon (.024 - .046)
Pickguard: None
Tuners: Classical Nickel
