taylor-legacy-810e
Taylor Legacy 810e

The Legacy 810e brings back the sound, look and feel of Taylor's original acoustic-electric Dreadnought, with a few modern updates. Indian rosewood back and sides and a Sitka spruce top sit on traditional X-bracing, and Taylor voices it big and warm, with sparkle on top and plenty of overtone.

The neck uses Taylor's modern profile for relaxed fretting and easy adjustment, and the body is a slightly later version of the Dreadnought shape, still from Taylor's early years. An LR Baggs Element VTC pickup sits under the saddle, with its controls just inside the soundhole, and the guitar is strung with mediums (.013 to .056).

The appointments follow the early 800 Series: white binding, a three-ring green abalone rosette, Large Diamond inlays in mother-of-pearl, a tortoise pickguard and ebony bridge pins dotted with green abalone, all in gloss on the body and neck.

The Legacy 815e is the same woods and appointments in a Jumbo, and the Legacy 914ce takes the Legacy approach to a cutaway Grand Auditorium with an Engelmann spruce top.

SPECIFICATIONS

BODY
Country of Origin: USA
Body Shape: Dreadnought
Cutaway: Non-cutaway
Bracing System: X-Bracing
Number of Strings: 6 String
Top Wood: Spruce
Back/Side Wood: Indian Rosewood
Rosette: Green Abalone 3 Ring
Back Configuration: 2-piece No Wedge
Body Binding: White
Armrest: None
Top Finish: Gloss
Back/Side Finish: Gloss

NECK
Neck Wood: Neo-Tropical Mahogany
Fretboard Wood: West African Crelicam Ebony
Neck Profile: Standard Carve
Fretboard Inlay: Mother-of-Pearl Large Non-Engraved Diamonds
Fretboard Binding: White
Neck Finish: Gloss
Nut Width: 1-3/4"
Peghead Veneer Wood: Indian Rosewood
Scale Length: 25-1/2"
Peghead Inlay: None
Peghead Type: Standard
Peghead Binding: White
Peghead Finish: Gloss

HARDWARE
Bridge: West African Crelicam Ebony
Nut & Saddle: White TUSQ Nut, White Micarta Saddle
Bridge Pins: West African Ebony with Green Abalone Dots
Strings: D'Addario XS Coated Phosphor Bronze Medium (.013 - .056)
Pickguard: Tortoise
Tuners: Taylor Nickel with Nickel Buttons
Strap Pin: Nickel
End Pin: Nickel

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0700/1220/7188/files/Taylor-810e-Legacy-1204194126-FrontLeft-2024_sq.jpg?v=1791348887
