tom-anderson-angel-player-7
Tom Anderson Angel Player 7

The Angel Player 7 is the seven-string Angel on an all-tonewood body of alder or basswood, with no figured top and no pickguard. It keeps the Angel's 24 frets, a 1.875" nut, and the deep cutaways and front and back contours that make the upper frets easy to reach.

The added low string extends the range down while the 24 frets keep the top end. Anderson leaves off the pickup rings here too and says it brings the neck pickup closer to the 24th-fret harmonic. Scale is 25-1/2" or 24-3/4".

Anderson pitches the Angel Player 7 at the working player who wants seven strings and 24 frets on one body. For a figured top on the same seven-string design, look at the Angel 7. For six strings on the same body, look at the Angel Player.

The guitar in the photo is one customer's build in Metallic Green Go, shown as an example. Every Anderson is built to order: after you order, we go through the build with you, from the woods and finish to the neck shape, frets, pickups and hardware.

Price subject to change based on options chosen.

SPECIFICATIONS

BODY
Country of Origin: USA (Newbury Park, California)
Model: Tom Anderson Angel Player 7
Body: Tonewood body
Body Woods: Alder or basswood
Pickguard: None
Finish: Gloss or satin

NECK
Neck: Maple back, rosewood fingerboard
Scale Length: 25-1/2" (Traditional) or 24-3/4" (Shorty)
Number of Frets: 24
Frets: Stainless steel; Heavy, Medium-Jumbo, Tall-Thin, Small or Jumbo
Nut Width: 1.875"
Neck Profile: Any Anderson neck shape

ELECTRONICS
Pickups: Any Anderson Pickupworks model
Switching: 3-way or 5-way

HARDWARE
Strings on Instrument: 7
Bridge: Vintage tremolo or fixed bridge
Tuners: Locking or split shaft
Hardware: Chrome or nickel
Strings: D'Addario XS coated, 10-56 (7-string set)

CASE
Case: Anderson logo gig bag
