tone-king-gremlin-combo
Tone King Gremlin Combo

The Gremlin is a 5-watt, single-12 combo with two inputs. Rhythm is voiced after a blackface amp, with bell-like highs and more headroom. Lead is voiced after a tweed amp and breaks up sooner. One KT66 power tube, two 12AX7s, and a Volume and a Tone knob.

An Ironman II attenuator is built into the back panel, so the power tube can run flat out at a volume that suits a living room. Plug in an A/B/Y footswitch and you can switch between the inputs or run both at once.

This is the amp for a player who wants a pushed American tube amp at home without a 40-watt combo's volume. If you'd rather choose your own speaker cabinet, the Gremlin Head is the same idea with a 5881 power tube. For reverb and three voices on a footswitch, step up to the Falcon Grande.

SPECIFICATIONS

CHASSIS
Country of Origin: USA
Weight: 29 lbs.
Dimensions: 10"(L) x 19"(W) x 17"(H)
Configuration: 5W, 1x12 Single Channel Combo
Construction: Baltic Birch USA construction

POWER
Output Power: 5W
Tubes: 1 x KT66 and 2 x 12AX7
Built-In Ironman II Compensated Power Attenuator: Precision Tuned Reactive Load, Fletcher-Munson Volume Compensation Circuitry, Damping factor correction

SPEAKERS
Speaker: Custom designed 12", 8-Ohm, Ceramic Magnet speaker made by Celestion
Speaker Impedance: 8 Ohms

CONTROLS
Preamp: Rhythm and Lead channels are voiced for blackface and tweed tones
Controls: Vol, Tone
Footswitch: Select your input or jump the channels with an optional A/B/Y footswitch
