Description
The BE-OD by Friendman is an overdrive/distortion pedal based on the Plexi-style BE-100 head with a huge range of gain sounds on tap.
Controls include: 2 band eq with presence knob for contouring the high-end frequencies. Tight control works as more of a low-end filter, on the far left tons of low end, and tighten as you increase for more variax style tones. Volume and gain works as you expect. An internal trim pot adjusts overall gain amount. Stock position is straight up the middle. The internal trim is honestly where the pedal really comes to life, and I suggest everyone play around with it.
From Plexi through hair metal and even hotter the BE-OD is the pedal if you want aggressive high-gain sounds without carrying at 80lbs head.
