Lauzon Music is known for its exceptional selection of boutique and custom one-off guitars. Founded in 1945 by Larry and Dorothy Lauzon, Lauzon Music began as a small family-run music shop.

In 1974, Ken Lauzon took over, leading the second generation of the business. It grew significantly, showcasing musical instruments across two floors in their Wellington Street building in Ottawa. 

Now managed by the third generation, Dave Lauzon, the shop continues to thrive with a focus on curating rare, high-end guitars for discerning players who value quality and craftsmanship.

Lauzon Music specializes in boutique amps and effects, beginning with Fulltone effects and Dr. Z amps in the 1990s. Today, we carry quality brands like Suhr, PRS, James Tyler, and Two-Rock, providing an impressive selection of amps and pedals unique in the region.
Service is a cornerstone of our business. Our in-house technicians maintain our pianos and guitars, supported by a skilled technical staff, a world-class piano refinishing facility, and a full-service guitar shop.
