A faithful reproduction of the original “Ful-Fidelity” Filter’Tron pickups invented by the legendary Ray Butts, these pickups are made according to Ray’s personal notes and designs, and TV Jones’ extensive multi-decade analysis of original Filter’Tron pickups. They produce a tighter bass response and slightly more top end than modern Filter’Tron pickups, and the absence of wax potting results in a more open, three-dimensional sound with truly unique sparkle and exceptional dynamics.
