Questions
Carr questions, answered
Where are Carr amps made?
In Pittsboro, North Carolina. Carr hand-wires its amps point-to-point and builds its own cabinets there.
What does the triode/pentode switch on the Rambler do?
It switches the output section between pentode and triode operation, which roughly halves the output in triode. Carr lists the Rambler as cathode-biased Class A on two 6L6 or 5881 tubes, with tube spring reverb and tremolo.
Can I get a Carr that isn't on this page?
Ask us in the chat about the model you're after.
