Ordering a PRS from Lauzon Music
The current PRS range
PRS builds its Core and S2 guitars in Stevensville, Maryland, and designs its all-tube amps in Maryland too. The guitars are grouped by model family, with S2 versions next to the Core ones where both exist; the amps come as heads and combos with matching cabinets.
- Custom 24 and CE 24. The PRS double-cut with 24 frets, in Custom 24, 24-08, Piezo and "Floyd" versions, plus the CE 24 and CE 24 Semi-Hollow
- McCarty. The vintage-leaning PRS: the McCarty, the McCarty 594 on its 24.594" scale, and the McCarty 594 Hollowbody II
- Silver Sky. PRS's three single-coil guitar, in gloss and satin
- Tekton. New for 2026: a 25.5" scale, 16" radius, stainless steel frets, Stylus pickups built for tube amps and digital rigs, and the thinnest neck PRS makes in standard production. Tekton, Tekton T, Tekton "Floyd" and the 26.5" scale Tekton SVN 7-string
- S2. Built on PRS's second Stevensville line, with Maryland-made pickups and electronics: Standard 22 and 24, Custom 24, McCarty 594, Mira, Vela and Studio, many in satin
- Signature models. Artist guitars including the Mark Tremonti, Santana Retro, Myles Kennedy, Mark Holcomb and DGT
- PRS amps. Archon, with five gain stages for classic rock to metal; HDRX, in 20, 50 and 100 watt versions; Sonzera, with mid-60s American cleans and spring reverb; and the MT (Mark Tremonti) and DGT (David Grissom) signature amps
What a PRS costs to order
Current PRS guitars and amps in the Catalogue run from about $1,200 to $8,700. S2 guitars sit at the lower end of the guitar range, and Core signature and semi-hollow models at the upper. Cabinets are listed on the same page, priced on their own.

Questions
PRS questions, answered
What is the PRS Tekton?
A new family of PRS guitars introduced in 2026 for technical, modern players. Every Tekton has a 25.5" scale (26.5" on the SVN 7-string), a 16" fretboard radius, stainless steel frets, a thin modern D neck with a bolt-on joint, and PRS Stylus pickups voiced to sound right through both tube amps and digital rigs. The family is the Tekton (hardtail), Tekton T (tremolo), Tekton "Floyd" and Tekton SVN.
Which PRS amps can I order?
The current PRS tube amp range: Archon and Archon Classic, HDRX 20, 50 and 100, the Sonzera 20 combo, the MT 15 and MT 100 (Mark Tremonti's signature amps), and the DGT 15 and DG Custom 30 (David Grissom's). Matching 1x12, 2x12 and 4x12 cabinets are on the same page.
Should I order a Core or an S2 PRS?
Both are built in PRS's factory in Stevensville, Maryland, and since 2024 every S2 uses Maryland-made pickups and electronics. S2 began in 2013 as a second production line, and S2 versions come in at a lower price than their Core counterparts. Several models, like the Custom 24, McCarty 594 and Vela, are on this page in both.
Can I order a custom-spec PRS?
Yes. PRS is one of the makers we take custom orders for. Tell us what you're after on our custom shop orders page.
Pre-orders
Pre-order questions
How much do I pay today?
Your choice: the full price, or a 25% deposit. On a deposit, the balance is due when the guitar reaches the shop, before it ships to you.
When will it arrive?
It varies by product, anywhere from two weeks up to several months. If you'd like a date first, ask us in the chat and we'll check with the supplier before you order. If you're ready now, go ahead: we confirm the ETA by email once your order is in, and if it changes, we let you know and you can cancel.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time before the supplier invoices it and ships it to us. We refund what you paid less 3% to cover the card processing fee.
Once it has shipped to us it is a special order and final sale. If it arrives with something wrong, we put that right.
What if the price goes up before it arrives?
You pay the price you ordered at. Once your order is placed we hold that price, even if the supplier raises it before the guitar arrives.
Is the setup included?
Yes. A pre-order is an online order, so it gets the same free setup on our bench before it ships.
Can I finance it?
Paying in full: yes, if you're in Canada. Choose PayPlan by RBC or Shop Pay Installments as your payment method at checkout. The plan, the rate and the approval sit with the provider, and you see the terms before you agree to anything.
Paying a 25% deposit: the deposit can't be financed, and it's paid by card or PayPal.
More on Financing.
Can I pay with Shop Pay or Apple Pay?
Not on a deposit: Shopify only takes a pre-order deposit by card or PayPal. Pay in full and checkout works as usual.
