NYXL uses a high-carbon NY Steel core and nickel-plated steel wrap for more break strength, steadier tuning and a stronger mid-range than D'Addario's standard sets. The 10-52 gauge keeps light trebles for bending over a heavier bottom for drop tunings and thicker rhythm.
