A two-pickup T-style from El Cabron, and the pickup pairing is the whole guitar: a Curtis Novak gold foil at the neck against a custom hand-wound 20k Esquire pickup at the bridge. A 20k Esquire winding is already a long way from a stock bridge pickup, and putting a gold foil in front of it gives you two voices that have nothing at all in common. Volume and a greasebucket tone control, so the tone knob rolls off top end without the low end coming up to meet it.
The Black Industrial finish is satin black, hand-stencilled on every face. Red stencil numbers, 64275, run across the lower bout, a column of white Japanese script sits on the upper bout, and the edges carry #56-741 HIGH LOAD along the bass side and EMITS LOUD NOISES along the treble side, each with a small cast metal sacred heart pinned beside it. The back has four characters over a row of eyelets and a stencilled WARNING!, and a painted white stitch line runs the whole outline of the body. Photographed by Mike Eldred before it shipped.
Alder body, maple neck in El Cabron's "Dull V" at .950" first fret and .980" at the twelfth, 25.5" scale, 6105 fretwire, brass side dots. The truss rod is a Bi-Flex with a butt adjust.
