Why this one made the wall

Aged black over roasted ash, bound top and bottom, relic'd. The Telecaster Custom's binding is what separates it from a standard Tele and it is the reason this one reads as expensive from across a room rather than up close.

Quartersawn 5/4 maple neck with a dark tinted finish, AAA rosewood board, Modern C at .820" and .870", 9.50" radius, medium jumbo 6150s and white micarta dots. Wide spacing.

A hand-wound '51 Nocaster in the neck and a hand-wound Twisted Tele at the bridge, through '63 Tele Relic controls with a knurled chrome volume knob and a top hat switch tip. Black-white-black pickguard, vintage tuners with the Fender logo.

Do I pay duty or brokerage on a US order?

No. Duty, taxes, brokerage and customs on a US order are handled at our end before the instrument leaves Ottawa. It arrives at your door with nothing to pay.

Orders going anywhere outside Canada and the United States work differently. The shipping and returns policy sets out which is which.

What does the free setup cover?

Every instrument crosses Ian Vance's bench before it ships, and on an online order that setup is free.

What it covers depends on what the guitar needs. Frets, fretboard, hardware, fresh strings, truss rod, action, nut slots, intonation, pickup height and electronics are all part of it, and none of it is an upcharge. The menu above shows the choices you get to make.

What if it is not right when it arrives?

You have 48 hours from the moment it arrives to decide. Email shop@lauzonmusic.com inside that window and we will authorize the return. Nothing comes back unauthorized.
