Competition Orange with a Fiesta Red racing stripe and a headcap painted to match, built on the 62 Jazzmaster platform and finished Relic.
The neck is where this one separates itself. It is specced heavy relic while the body is a standard Relic, so the back of the neck is worn smooth and satin under your hand and the guitar still looks like it has been cared for. Quartersawn maple, AAA rosewood board, 62 Jazzmaster profile at .820" and .900", 9.50" radius, 21 medium jumbo 6150s, yellowed mother of pearl dots.
Curtis Novak JM-V pickups in black at both positions, which is the other thing worth knowing. Novak's JM-V is a Jazzmaster pickup built the original way rather than a P-90 in a Jazzmaster cover, and it is the reason this reads as a Jazzmaster and not a wide-format single coil.
Witch hat knobs in black, yellowed pickguard, adjustable Jaguar/Jazzmaster bridge, vintage tuners with the Fender logo. Fender Custom Shop brown Jag/Jazz case.
