The 1964 ES-335 Reissue has the sharper horns of the period, a '64 medium C neck and small block inlays. Gibson's Murphy Lab, named for Tom Murphy, who pioneered guitar aging at Gibson, finishes this guitar in aged nitro lacquer and ages its hardware to match.
Ultra Light Aged is the lightest of the Murphy Lab's four aging levels. Custombuckers with Alnico 3 magnets, 500K CTS pots and paper-in-oil capacitors, an ABR-1 and Kluson double-ring tuners. Sixties Cherry.
