This ES-335 is a Gibson Exclusive, finished in British Racing Green gloss nitrocellulose lacquer. The deep green is set off by single-ply cream binding on the top, back and fingerboard, a black 5-ply pickguard and nickel hardware.
The body is 3-ply maple/poplar/maple over a solid maple centre block, the construction Gibson credits with the 335's sustain and its resistance to feedback at volume. The mahogany neck has a Rounded C profile, Gibson's middle-ground carve, glued in and topped with a 12" radius rosewood fingerboard, acrylic dots and 22 medium jumbo frets.
Calibrated T-Type humbuckers are hand-wired to 500K pots and Orange Drop capacitors, with a volume and a tone for each pickup. An ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic and aluminum stop bar anchor the strings, with Vintage Deluxe tuners at the headstock.
It weighs 8 lb 9 oz and comes with a Gibson hardshell case.
