The Songwriter is Gibson's square-shoulder modern dreadnought from the late nineties. The Recording Artist builds it with the 1930s Advanced X bracing pattern, a 25.5 inch scale and rosewood back and sides, close to the 1936 Advanced Jumbo, under a thermally aged solid Sitka spruce top.
An ebony board with mother-of-pearl diamond-eye inlays, an ebony bridge with arrow inlays, a bone nut and saddle, Grover open-back tuners, and a Baggs HiFi pickup with soundhole volume and tone. Antique Natural and Rosewood Burst.
