The Slate ships deliberately empty. It is a stereo Expanse-series pedal you load yourself through Neunaber's free Pedal Customizer software over USB, so it can be Wet Reverb this month and Chroma Chorus, Echelon Echo, Seraphim Shimmer or Infinity Hold the next.
Three knobs whose function follows whichever effect is loaded, mix that runs to fully wet, buffered trails bypass with soft switching, an analog dry path so the dry signal carries no latency, and very high input impedance. With the optional ExP controller it holds four effects with two presets each and takes expression control on each knob.
