An Idris in Starry Night over Sublime. Sublime is sprayed first and Starry Night goes over the top, so the medium distressing wears back through the dark to the green underneath rather than to bare wood, and no two of these land the same way. Matching peghead.
Tempered pine body, tempered maple neck, rosewood board with MOTO dots, 25.5" scale and a 9.5" to 14" compound radius over Jescar 57110 jumbo wire. Medium C at .830", which is the everyday profile rather than the handful.
The control layout is the part worth reading twice. Volume, a Tone control with a push-push that flips series and parallel, and a Blend. That is a lot more territory than the three pickups and a switch would suggest, and it is why an Idris specced this way does not behave like the Strat it resembles from across the room.
Black Strat pickup covers, five-ply black guard, MannMade vibrato, Dumble knobs, black switch and tremolo tips, Stringjoy 10-48. Novo deluxe padded soft case.
