The Astryx Limited Edition is Dany Villarreal's first signature model, built by PRS as a Custom 24 for the lead guitarist and co-founder of The Warning. PRS is making 200 of them in 2026, and each one comes with a backplate signed by Dany.
Underneath it is the Custom 24: a figured maple 10-Top over mahogany with the violin carve, a one-piece mahogany neck in the Pattern Thin shape, 25" scale, 24 frets, the Gen III tremolo and a pair of DMO humbuckers. The departure from the standard recipe is the ebony fretboard, which carries her Solecito inlay, a sun at the 12th fret. Solecito means "little sun", a nod to her Mexican heritage.
The finish is Ocaso, Spanish for sunset, a fade from purple through pink and orange to yellow under high-gloss nitro. The 5-way blade gives you each humbucker on its own, both together, and two split-coil combinations. This one weighs 8 lb.
