Schaller's current generation, replacing the Security Lock they patented in 1981. The thread is over 60 percent longer and the gap between lock wheel and base went from 3.3 to 6.6 mm, which is what lets a thick leather strap actually seat.
The locking bolt is stainless and bevelled so it stops clicking, the button screws are permanently mounted, and the thumbwheel tightens by hand or with an Allen key through the hole in it. Nickel.
