White tolex on head and cab, a white control panel, chrome corners and a pale grille cloth with the black Soldano logo across it. The little orbiting planet on the right of the panel is the Astro badge. A custom cosmetic pair rather than anything off Soldano's standard chart.
Under it, the Astro-20 is the most capable amp Soldano builds at this size. Three channels rather than the SLO's two, twenty watts from a pair of 6V6s with four 12AX7s in front of them, and each channel carries four selectable Galaxy voicings, so there is far more range on tap than the panel suggests. Onboard IRs and a four-button MIDI footswitch mean the whole thing can be saved and recalled by preset, which is what makes it a studio amp as much as a stage one.
The panel runs Volume and Tone for the clean side, then Gain 1, Gain 2, Bass, Middle, Treble, Vol 1, Vol 2, Master and Presence, with mini-toggles underneath for Bright, Channel, Galaxy, Depth and Cabinet.
Paired with its matching 1x12.
