Why this one made the wall

A City Limits Deluxe specced after the vintage Les Paul Custom. The body contours are left off, the hardware is gold, and the full body is finished in Olympic White, aged to a creamy tone. Black/white purfling runs the top, and the back is bound and purfled to match.

ThroBak SLE101 Plus MXV humbuckers sit in both positions, in place of the Lollar Imperials Collings fits as standard. Clear back plates leave the cavities on show: CTS pots, Jupiter caps and tidy 50s-style wiring, built to the same standard as the rest of the guitar.

Honduran mahogany neck with a 24 7/8" scale, 1 11/16" nut and 12" radius. Pinctada maxima pearl parallelograms run the fingerboard and the peghead. Grained ivoroid binding covers the body, fingerboard and Haircut peghead, with matching top hat knobs and pickup rings. It weighs 8 lb 7 oz and comes in a Collings hardshell case.

Do I pay duty or brokerage on a US order?

No. Duty, taxes, brokerage and customs on a US order are handled at our end before the instrument leaves Ottawa. It arrives at your door with nothing to pay.

Orders going anywhere outside Canada and the United States work differently. The shipping and returns policy sets out which is which.

What does the free setup cover?

Every instrument crosses our bench before it ships, and on an online order that setup is free.

What it covers depends on what the guitar needs. Frets, fretboard, hardware, fresh strings, truss rod, action, nut slots, intonation, pickup height and electronics are all part of it, and none of it is an upcharge. The menu above shows the choices you get to make.

What if it is not right when it arrives?
