Competition Red with a white competition stripe, and NOS rather than relic'd, so it leaves the Custom Shop looking like it was finished last week rather than played for fifty years. Thin nitro over two-piece alder.
The bridge is the reason to look twice. It is routed for a humbucker and carries a ThroBak SLE101 in aged nickel, with white covers on the neck and middle Custom Shop '66 Strat single coils. An HSS Strat where the humbucker came from ThroBak instead of the Fender parts bin, which is the same call made on the Paisley masterbuilt that came in alongside it.
Large sixties headstock, maple neck in a 66 Strat Oval C at .840" and .960", AAA rosewood board, 9.50" radius, narrow tall 6105 frets and 7mm mother of pearl dots.
