The SJ-100 was the mahogany-backed Super Jumbo, built only from about 1939 to 1942 and rare today. This Heavy Aged reissue has a thermally aged red spruce top with hand-scalloped X-bracing in hide glue, mahogany back and sides, a two-piece maple neck and an ebony moustache bridge.
An ebony board, a 25.5 inch scale, the firestripe SJ-100 pickguard and Waverly tuners. The Murphy Lab ages the nitro finish and hardware to look like a guitar that has been played for decades. Faded Vintage Sunburst, Heavy Aged. No pickup.
